Cheryl Ewing has enjoyed careers in Human Resources, specializing in Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation, and in Financial Services. She's worked with international distribution, manufacturing and investment firms.
She has also served as adjunct faculty teaching graduate-level business courses and has served as Subject Matter Expert in the creation of undergraduate business courses for online classroom delivery.
In business, academic, and not-for-profit volunteer positions, she's known for being the "go to" person for a wide variety of writing needs: employee and executive communications, studies and reports, academic and industrial training and educational materials for classroom and online applications, print and e-newsletters, e-zines, web content, research projects.
A strong researcher and writer, Cheryl focuses on Information and B2B Marketing and looks forward to creating effective copy that gets results for clients.
She is a member of American Writers & Artists, Inc. Circle of Success and The Professional Writers' Alliance.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana with a B.A. in Political Science, Cheryl also completed an M.A. in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley.
Further, she pursued graduate studies in Labor Relations at Loyola University of Chicago and completed coursework for the Certified Financial Planner designation with the American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
In her free time, Cheryl enjoys travel and language study, birding, blogging, and is passionate about health and wellness issues. She volunteers to support impoverished elderly and serves as a member of the University of Illinois Foundation.
Cheryl resides in Naperville, Illinois with her husband, Doak.
